Is dressing down to go out the new ‘in’ trend? πŸ‘πŸ‘Ž

Hello beautiful Internet friends!

Today I thought I’d share with you what is instantly becoming a new favourite of mine and that is my ASOS play suit that you can see below and why dressing down to go out is the new trend in my life.

I am completely in love with everything about this item, and it has become a wonderful replacement for my old trusty black motel ο»Ώplaysuit which I sadly lost to a drunken mishap which resulted in the loss of the zip and trying to avoid flashing everyone all night. πŸ™ˆ

What I adore about this is how the wonderful charcoal grey material fits, it looks almost like a skater dress and with the cut out shoulders and low back it can transfer from day to night outfit with ease. This makes it perfect for those nights out when you are going somewhere with the ‘casual’ dress code attached, (I’m looking at you shoreditch) Now living in London I find myself spending more and more time dressing down to go out. Most likely to places I feel super uncool in at first but absolutely adore. I will never forget the naive me turning up to Fabric after going to Cafe de’ Paris in my heels and short dress to be met with hundreds and hundreds of fabric-goers in shorts, docs, bumbags and playsuits surrounding me. One mistake I have never made again ha! That’s why playsuits like this make my life a whole lot easier because it fits pretty much every occasion.

I’m slowly falling in love with all clothing that has shoulders cut out like this ASOS number. So do let me know if you’ve got any other items  recently of the same style so I can invest 😊

So guys, what did you think if my dressing down to go out number?  Leave a comment in the box below and let me know I’m not the only one who has become a victim of being majorly overdressed! πŸ™ˆ
